    They have some of the best comfort food in Bakersfield! I love their biscuits and gravy and their cheeseburger is always cooked just right! We always get wonderful service from all the waitresses and to top off the experience you must get one of their pies. My favorite is the peanut butter cream pie!

    I was broke and asked if I could clean the restroom or wash dishes in exchange for food. They were so kind and gave me free biscuits and gravy, coffee and ice water for free and the staff were polite and kind. Thank you all for your kindness and grace may the Good Abba reward you as He sees fit for I trust His judgement and the work of His Hands Amen

    The roast beef is superb, the portions are NOT skimpy, the wait staff is friendly and responsive without smothering the customers, and the overall environment is inviting. It's tucked away from the jarring noise of the outside world and close enough to everywhere to be convenient to reach from most areas of the city. I had thought at first that the costs were a tad more expensive than what justifies in a cafe, and then I got my plate and I realized that the size of the meal more than makes up for the costs. Well done!
